Appointments & Referrals

To make an appointment, log in to the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. (Scheduling on MHS GENESIS coming soon). Use Patient Portal to send a message to your provider or call the Central Appointment Desk.

For any care that your primary care manager does not provide, such as urgent, preventative, mental health, and specialty care, you will need a referral. Find out more about how to obtain the necessary referral and authorization.

  • If your PCM is referring you to specialty care, read our 92nd MDG Referral Management Process Handout to guide you through what comes next.

  • Referrals are not required for non-active duty beneficiaries to seek acute care at network Urgent Care Centers
