The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
Our military clinic remains open and we’re continuing to provide healthcare services. Scheduled appointments and procedures are proceeding as planned, and new appointments continue to be booked. To make an appointment, log in to the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. (Scheduling on MHS GENESIS coming soon). Use Patient Portal to send a message to your provider or call the Central Appointment Desk.

For any care that your primary care manager does not provide, such as urgent, preventative, mental health, and specialty care, you will need a referral. Find out more about how to obtain the necessary referral and authorization.

Will I be dis-enrolled from the 92d Medical Group?
No. Beneficiaries will not be dis-enrolled or have their PCMs re-assigned to a downtown provider. Being referred to the network is a temporary measure to ensure our beneficiaries receive quality and timely care while the MDG is experiencing a staffing storage in support of the COVID-19 vaccinations. If there is an error in your enrollment, please contact TRICARE at 1-844-866-9378.
Will there be a co-pay associated with seeing off-base providers?
All co-pays/cost shares will be in place and expected to be paid by the beneficiaries based on their status and TRICARE plan they are enrolled in.
How will this affect my prescriptions? Can I still get them filled at the 92 MDG? If not, will they be transferred and how do I get them transferred?
Beneficiaries will still be able to receive their prescriptions at the 92d Medical Group; however, medication renewals, medication adjustments, and new medications will need to have an off-base provider update your prescription. Off-base providers can send the prescription to the 92 MDG pharmacy via GENESIS or patients can hand-carry a script to the 92 MDG Pharmacy. Patients can also request the off-base providers send the script to an off-base location. To check co-pay costs, please visit TRICARE website at https://www.tricare.mil/Costs/Compare. Please be aware that wait times are expected to increase during this time.
How will the referred medical facilities receive my medical records (labs, vaccines, radiology results) for my appointment?
The 92 MDG Release of Information Office will send medical records pertaining to the appointment to the referred location; no action needed on the patient.
How will the 92 MDG receive my medical records from the referred facilities?
Facilities in the network will forward your medical records to the 92 MDG Medical Records Office; no action needed on the patient.
How can I access my 92 MDG electronic medical records?
To access your health records online, please visit https://patientportal.mhsgenesis.health.mil. With MHS GENESIS you can:
- Monitor your health information
- Update your patient profile
- Schedule medical and active duty dental appointments
- Exchange secure messages with your care team
- Request prescription renewals
- See laboratory and test results including COVID-19 test results
